Hot Slut of the Day

I love the Dlisted. It’s probably my favorite celebrity gossip website. The writer does a featured post called “Hot Slut of the Day” and when I found out about Rosie Ruiz, all I could think is SHE SHOULD BE HOT SLUT OF THE DAY. But since I don’t know the author of the Dlisted, all I can do is take matters into my own hands to make sure she gets the glory she deserves.

I wasn’t born until 1988 so I had no idea who Rosie was until an article on CNN piqued my interest. After some Googling I found out this (via Wikipedia):

Rosie Ruiz Vivas (born 1953, Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban American who on April 21, 1980 crossed the finish line before all other women runners in the 84th Boston Marathon and was initially credited as the first place female competitor, but was later stripped of her title when it was found that she had not run the entire course.

Ruiz appeared to win the Boston Marathon in 2:31:56. This seemed to be the fastest time ever recorded for a woman in the Boston Marathon’s history, as well as the third-fastest time ever recorded for a woman in any marathon.

However, suspicions mounted about Ruiz almost from the beginning. Men’s winner Bill Rodgers, who had just won his third straight Boston Marathon, noticed that Ruiz couldn’t seem to recall many things that most runners know by heart, such as intervals and splits. Other observers noticed that Ruiz wasn’t panting or coated in sweat, and her thighs were much flabbier than would be expected for a world-class runner. She later released stress-test results showing her resting heart rate as 76; most female marathoners have a resting heart rate in the 50s or lower.

baaahahahahahaha. Ah man, that sucks for whoever actually won and didn’t get to break the ribbon, or get the glory. That’s intense, man. Super intense. What a b-word. THAT’S WHY SHE’S TODAY’S HOT SLUT OF THE DAY (even though I don’t have the authority to determine this). Here’s her post-race interview. I LOVE IT.
