Yeah. Umm. I text in movies sometimes. *RUNS*
But just because I text in movies sometimes doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy this. via SomeEcards:
Known as a haven for true film fans, the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Tx., maintains a strict, zero-tolerance stance on cell phone use in its theaters. When a recent patron repeatedly failed to heed that message — presumably because it wasn’t texted to her — she was kicked right out. Suddenly furious over her ejection from the movie she wasn’t paying attention to, the woman proceeded to leave a rambling, profane voicemail that the Drafthouse has now converted into the world’s most schadenfreude-laden anti-texting PSA. Wherever she is now in these Magnited States of America, we hope she’s learning her lesson.
I go to a lot of movie pre-screenings and we can’t have our phone out AT. ALL. I always put it away and turn it off in those situations. And I don’t sit there and have stupid text conversations. But if I get one, I’ll look at my phone to see what it says. My volume is always off and my brightness is as low as it can go.
I’M A COURTESY TEXTER!
